Human Services Transportation

If you need Medicaid, Vocational Rehabilitation or Department for the Blind Transportation and you live in Fayette, Jefferson, Shelby, Spencer, Oldham, Bullitt, Henry, and Trimble Counties call 1-888-848-0989 from 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday and Saturday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM and urgent care 24 hours 7 days a week.

Medicaid Transportation
 

Medicaid covers only medically necessary transportation to and from a Medicaid-covered service. Travel to pharmacies is not covered. For transportation outside of a member's medical service area, a referral from a member's primary care physician is required. Medicaid transportation requires a 72 hour advanced registration.

  
   
 
Non-Emergency Transportation
 

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation is for Medical members who do not have access to free transportation that suits their medical needs and need to be transported to a Medicaid covered service.
